Let’s start with some literary science.

Inside The Book Labyrinth, all books featured have been read and found unreservedly deserving to be read, lived and dreamed with. I shall act as book guide or ‘passeur’ – a matchmaker if you will, setting you up with the right book at the right time. Here you can share new, classic and forgotten titles and find your next book. It might be a fantastic new crime series, a new author or genre to discover, holiday reading, interconnected fiction to savour, or the most fascinating non-fiction or children’s books to treasure. 

Books mean the world to me and mean even more as I come to realise we have finite reading time! My background in teaching, translating, library management and bookselling has allowed me to be around books and reading my entire life and I can scarcely believe how amazing authors and books just keep on coming! They need to be read and celebrated. Secrets and shortcuts to finding the best of them need to be shared…. Step into the labyrinth and explore.
